In this role, the primary responsibilities will include all areas of maintenance with tasks primarily focusing on building & property maintenance, janitorial duties, as well as assisting with vehicle and small engine inspection and maintenance.
The Facilities Assistant is responsible for the daily cleanliness and maintenance to ensure the sanitation, tidiness, and upkeep of the the Mascoutah , IL office, warehouse facility, restrooms, and grounds, as well as quarterly visits to our regional offices located throughout Missouri.

Essential Job Functions Under the guidance of the Facilities Manager, plan & perform basic building repairs, miscellaneous jobs & handyman work Fleet management of vehicles, generators, compressors including basic maintenance & scheduling inspections & service Janitorial duties Maintain inventory of cleaning & facility supplies as well as ordering supplies Perform safety duties, incl.
checking fire extinguishers, smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, etc.
Mowing, maintenance, landscaping, & snow removal Quarterly travel to other offices for task completion- up to 10% overnight travel Assist with updating training manuals, policies & procedures for the department Other duties as assigned Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Current valid Driver's License & ability to obtain Non-CDL DOT certification Experience with safely & efficiently operating hannd, power tools & lawn equipment Ability to drive a vehicle without presenting a safety risk to self or others Ability to be added to Company auto insurance policy Regular & predictable attendance required Legally authorized to work in country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future Desired Skills & Competencies Must demonstrate personal accountability; be punctual for appointments & meetings Ability to follow a checklist to completion Ability to follow verbal instructions High-level of attention to detail Extremely Safety Conscious Enjoy working in all weather conditions Working Conditions Fast-paced environment with multiple changes to schedules & fluctuating priorities Roof-top heights utilizing ladders, scissor lifts & in tight spaces at times Indoors in an office/warehouse setting & outdoors in all weather conditions Close proximity to machinery & equipment Physical Requirements:
